Kristin Ruddy, Instructional Specialist, supports the implementation of school turnaround services. Her career in education includes 20 years as a master elementary educator in public schools. She has held the positions of mentor coordinator, department chair, diversity coalition member, and parent teacher liaison in various schools. As a Clinical Faculty Member at Virginia Commonwealth University, Ms. Ruddy coached student teachers and mentored new teachers from various universities. Her areas of expertise include STEAM instruction, guided reading, children’s engineering, and active engagement. Ms. Ruddy has organized and facilitated professional development focusing on instructional technology integration and active student engagement.
